Family Holiday in Barcelona

Family Holiday in Barcelona

This Spring, I took a very brief but necessary vacation to Barcelona with my family. It felt amazing to leave the dreary British weather behind and spend some quality family time in the sun.

Although we only spent two full days there, we still managed to fit in all the main sights.

We stayed in an apartment on the outskirts, Sant Andreu, which was very spacious with balconies overlooking the little town. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get any snaps of the apartment because, by the time we arrived home each day, we all just crashed!

Barcelona is such a beautiful city, with so much culture and history

If you’re planning a family vacation, I would 100% recommend staying in an apartment. It is far more comfortable (as you feel like you’re staying in your own home!), plus having your own living room allows you to chill and plan things together so much easier.

Barcelona is such a beautiful city, with so much culture and history. If you are travelling there for the first time, I highly recommend purchasing a pass for the Big Bus Tours. They run regularly throughout the day and pass by every single main attraction!  It was actually our main mode of transport throughout our time there and was also the reason why we were able to see so much in such a short space of time.

If you want to find out more about what specific attractions I visited in Barcelona and what I thought about them, then be sure to check out my vlog below!
